Later this week, the Online News Association will unveil a partial schedule for ONA21, our annual gathering of journalists, technologists and educators.
Here’s a brief preview of what to expect.
On Monday, June 21, we will host a Career Day – a free event for job seekers and recruiters to connect and chat.
Special thanks to our ONA21 sponsors.
From Tuesday, June 22 through Friday, June 25, ONA will host virtual trainings, networking events, opportunities to connect with sponsors and more. You can find an overview of our schedule here in order to block out times on your calendar.
This year, ONA is focused on four key areas of innovation in news organizations. They are:
- Fostering deeper connections and growing your audience
- Improving your business strategy by analyzing revenue trends and previewing emerging technology
- Developing the next generation of news leadership for a more inclusive, diverse work culture
- Creating, testing, refining news products and better integrating workflows across a news organization
Stay tuned for a fuller schedule on Thursday, June 3, with additional sessions, presenters and events still to be added for the next few weeks.
Most sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand viewing shortly after they end for registered attendees.
Scholarships are also available through Thursday, May 27; and that same day, volunteer opportunities will open. Visit our opportunities page for more information.
