Responsible for MDIF’s investment mandate for media, content & media-tech in South Asia, Koreel brings nearly 20 years of experience across investments, strategy and editorial at various marquee organizations. Before MDIF, he was the founding COO of India’s 1st funding organization for independent media – IPS Media Foundation. His VC & Strategy experience also includes a successful stint at Springboard, the VC arm of India’s largest media house, Bennett, Coleman & Co (BCCL). Prior to that he led financial markets coverage, news desk and equity research at Bloomberg India & CNBC India.
