Tereza Verenca

Tereza Verenca is an Audience Engagement Editor at Glacier Media, where she helps develop and implement audience growth strategies across newsrooms. Every day brings something new, whether that’s helping reporters with their weekend newsletter, troubleshooting a CMS problem, growing the company’s membership program, teaching search engine optimization or giving advice on social media best practices. Tereza also acts as a central editor for Glacier Media’s B.C. properties. She has a bird’s-eye view of what everyone is working on and is able to cross-publish content across the chain, using analytics and data. Before taking this position in early 2021, Tereza was the editor of Castanet Kamloops, an online publication in her hometown. Prior to that, she worked in Metro Vancouver as a freelance journalist covering community news.
